Dario says that young goalkeeper Ben Garratt could be the best keeper the Academy has produced.

The 16 year old is part of the highly rated Under-17 crop currently emerging from the Academy and last week was on Under-17 duty for England as they stormed to victory against Turkey, Australia and Portugal.

He’s already been part of the first team set up, earning a call up to the bench for the opening game of the season against Hereford. Since then he’s played above his year group by becoming the Under 18’s number one this season.

Following his England U-17 debut a week ago, Dario now believes that Garratt can go on to be the ‘first good keeper’ the academy has produced. Does Owain Fon Williams not count?

To represent England at any level whilst at a League Two club though is quite special, a brilliant achievement for Garratt along with fellow Academy stars Nick Powell and Max Clayton.
