Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has denied any Crewe interest in his striker, Danny Crow.
Crow had been linked with a move to Gresty Road after Steve Holland revealed that a lower league striker could arrive before the end of this week.
However, Barry Fry has ruled out selling Crow unless there’s a ‘ridiculous offer’ put forward.
Fry told peterboroughtoday.co.uk: “I have had no contact with Crewe about Danny Crow. we are no longer a selling club. That won’t change unless we get a ridiculous offer for someone.’
Yesterday, Dario revealed that the club have enquired about a striker and will await a response.
