Four players have returned from injury after coming through yesterday’s training session. David Vaughan (groin) and Ben Williams (dead leg) both returned to full training yesterday and could play a part in today’s game against Stockport County.

So could striker Tom Pope, who has recovered from his slight groin injury he picked up after the Liverpool friendly.

Michael O’Connor has returned after having an operation on a hernia problem this summer, but it’s unlikely he’ll play a part today after spending most of the summer on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, trialist Patrick Suffo could get a run out today. The former Coventry striker is still lacking fitness but may get a chance to show if he’s the elusive striker Dario’s been searching for.
