Forest Green Game Scrapped

The club have cancelled the pre-season friendly at Forest Green Rovers this summer after Steve Holland found the facilities weren’t up to scratch.

Holland made the trip down to Gloucestershire recently to inspect the facilities the team would be using in a training camp and found them not to be up to scratch.

The main problem is that the pitches the team would be training on were open to the public, meaning dog walkers and children would be welcome to use it during the club’s stay.

Instead, Dario has decided to return to Portugal for a five day intensive training camp which will include early morning runs and intense weight sessions.
