Forest Beat Alex In Under-23s 2020 Finale

Three first-half goals from Julian Larsson, Alex Gibson-Hammond and Ateef Konate saw Nottingham Forest defeat Crewe Alexandra in their final Under-23s game of the year at Reaseheath this afternoon.

Manager Alex Morris named Sam Booth in goal with a back 4 of Travis Johnson, Billy Sass-Davies, Eddie Nolan and Nathan Woodthorpe. In midfield were Joe Robbins, Perry Ng and Regan Griffiths while Offrande Zanzala and Rio Adebisi started either side of Tyreece Onyeka up front.

The opening goal of the game came in the 3rd minute with Larsson before Gibson-Hammond doubling the lead 18 minutes later with Konate adding the third 7 minutes before the break.

The next scheduled games at this level sees a home game against Wigan Athletic on Monday 11th before a trip to Coventry City a fortnight later, both games kicking off at 1:00 pm.
