The 24-year-old centre-back has signed an improved three-year deal after making 63 appearances for the club since returning for a second spell from Droylsden in July 2010.
Liverpool-born Dugdale has also spent loan spells with Accrington Stanley, Southport, Barrow, Hyde and AFC Telford United in the past.
“I am delighted to have extended my contract until 2015 and this has rounded off a great year for me personally and for the Football Club,” Dugdale told Crewe’s offical website. “I was pleased to be offered new terms and an extension to my current deal and I didn`t hesitate to sign.”
