Crewe Alexandra are giving a week’s trial to Argentinian full-back Federico Bessone.

“We’re having a look for a few days” – Steve Davis

The 30-year-old defender previously
spent time with Swansea City following
his move from Espanyol in June 2008.

Free-agent Bessone has also served
Leeds United, Charlton Athletic, Swindon Town, Millwall and Oldham Athletic during his career.

“We’re having a look for a few days,” manager Steve Davis confirmed to BBC Radio Stoke. “He’s a free agent, although he’s been back training with Swansea.”
