Crewe Alexandra could be without centre-back Harry Davis for their Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Northern Area final first-leg at Coventry City tomorrow evening.

Davis suffered a toe injury during the Alex’s narrow weekend victory against Scunthorpe United and is already rated doubtful.

The 21-year-old was unable to train on Monday and is currently undergoing extensive treatment in a bid to recover. Should he fail
to do so then Mark Ellis is set for a recall after replacing him at the weekend.

Otherwise, Crewe have a fully available squad to select from at the Ricoh Arena, with the eventual winners facing either Leyton Orient or Southend United in the final at Wembley.
