New left-back Gregor Robertson is settling in well since joining Crewe Alexandra over the summer.

The Scot arrived from Chesterfield last month and is looking for an injury-free campaign at Gresty Road.

Robertson, 28, managed only fourteen appearances for the Spireites last term and 37 in total over the past couple of seasons.

‘It’s been really good and I’ve settled in really well,” Robertson told Crewe’s official website. “It has been good to have a lot of games because I have missed the last two pre-seasons through injury.

“My aim is to now establish myself in the team and to play as many games as I can,” he added. “We are all looking forward to the new season and doing well for the club.”
