Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis felt a crucial decision went against his side on the stroke of half-time.

“I felt we deserved to go in at half-time 0-0 because I didn’t think there was anything in the game” – Steve Davis

Gary Liddle headed home from the resultant free-kick and Billy Clarke later added a second as Bradford City
emerged 2-0 winners at Valley Parade.

“Those type of poor decisions do not help us. It is always a tough place to come here at Bradford and you need those little things to go in your favour,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “It didn’t help our cause because I felt we deserved to go in at half-time 0-0 because I didn’t think there was anything in the game.

“The second goal was a piece of individual skill from Clarke but the players kept going. I cannot fault their effort, they are all working hard,” he added. “They kept trying to get a goal. Brad [Inman] has hit the bar and Ryan [Colclough] had a great chance to score as well and who knows if one of those go in?”
