Manager Steve Davis was far from happy with some of the decisions as Crewe Alexandra collected a third successive draw at Millwall.

Referee Chris Kavanagh awarded three second-half penalties, two of which were converted by Brad Inman and Lee Gregory, before the home striker hit a post with his second opportunity just prior to the end.

“I was really pleased with the performance today, we kept possession well at times but didn’t quite have those real clear cut chances,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “I am disappointed and amazed by the penalty decisions. I am amazed at what we see from 60 yards away to what they see from 10 yards away and all I will say is it happened at Wigan and it has happened again today.

“I think he was influenced by the crowd and bowed down to the pressure,” he continued. “He was influenced by the crowd today and the linesman gave the second one and he was further away than the referee, who didn’t see it as handball.”
