Manager Steve Davis is relishing the prospect of Crewe Alexandra coming up against Sheffield United at Gresty Road tomorrow evening.

“We came from two down and I thought we were going to win it” – Steve Davis

The two clubs already shared six goals during their first meeting at Bramall Lane earlier in the season and Davis believes it could be a similar scenario with the title-chasers this time around.

“It was a fantastic game to watch last time we met with two good teams having a go,” Davis told This is Staffordshire. “We came from two down and I thought we were going to win it when we had them panicking.

“They managed to get the equaliser but it was a great night,” he added. “We took a lot from that performance and hopefully we can get another game similar to that at Crewe.”

Latest signing Nathan Ellington could be involved after being left on the bench for the weekend 2-1 victory at Colchester United.
