As suggested last week, summer signing Jordan Connerton is to move to Nantwich Town in a loan deal.
The former Lancaster striker has failed to make a first team appearance so far this season, though has been named on the bench on quite a few occasions.
With Dabbers manager Kevin Street, the former Alex midfielder, asking about Connerton’s availability, Dario says that the 20 year old will be allowed to leave on loan with a deal likely to be struck next week.
It comes as no surprise. Only recently Dario commented that Connerton, along with fellow new recruit Antoni Sarcevic, are still a way off his first team plans at the moment. With both playing in the depths of the non-league up to their summer moves there’s no real expectation for them to make a real impact at Gresty Road this season.
