Daniel Signs For Macclesfield

Former Alex midfielder Colin ‘Junior’ Daniel has signed for Macclesfield Town.

‘Junior’ was released by the club earlier this summer after two years. He signed for The Alex in the summer of 2007 from Eastwood Town with high hopes of following the likes of Steve Jones and Luke Varney into a successful professional career.

However he went on to make just 12 starts, most of which came last season as he failed to impress Gudjon. He spent the latter part of last season on loan at Macclesfield, knowing his contract wasn’t to be renewed by Crewe.

Today he put pen to paper on a one year deal at Moss Rose.
