Crewe Alexandra are in the capital for a visit to Millwall this weekend.

Teenage striker Ryan Seager goes straight into the squad having arrived on loan from Southampton and following top scorer Ryan Colclough joining League One rivals Wigan Athletic.

Elsewhere, midfielder Billy Bingham is still out for the visitors due to a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Harry Davis (knee), George Ray, Lauri Dalla Valle (both ankle) and Ryan Wintle (foot) are similarly unavailable.

“Before the Bury game, I told the lads the result could depend on how well they dealt with their front two in one-v-ones,” manager Steve Davis told the Stoke Sentinel. “They had to play with their brains and not with their hearts, and I thought they did that.

“It will be a similar game at Millwall, but we’re looking forward to it. We go there on the back of a couple of decent results,” he added. “We showed against Wigan we can play good football and create chances, and against Bury we showed the other side of our game when we dug in and battled our way to a good result.”

Millwall are missing skipper Tony Craig because of a knee injury and right-back Carlos Edwards (hamstring) is another casualty.

But Northern Ireland midfielder Shane Ferguson continues after making his recent loan from Newcastle United a permanent deal.
