Crewe Alexandra could be boosted by the return of young forward Ryan Colclough this weekend.

“I am sure that Ryan will be back involved with us this week” – Steve Davis

Colclough must first pass a fitness test tomorrow which would then allow him to resume training the following day.

The eighteen-year-old has been sidelined since hurting his hip during the recent Johnstone’s Paint Trophy victory against Accrington Stanley. He also picked up a chest infection.

“I am sure that Ryan will be back involved with us this week,” manager Steve Davis confirmed to Crewe’s official website. “He has been struggling with his hip and he had a bit of a chest infection. He is over that now and has been running on the treadmill.”
