Crewe Striker Set To Leave

Crewe Alex striker Rodney Jack will not be offered a new contract over the summer and will subsequently leave the club.

Jack, who rejoined the club following spells at Rushden and Torquay will now spend the summer looking for a new club to play for having being re-signed as a backup for Nicky Maynard put in some great performances.

With the emergence of the likes of Shaun Miller and Tom Pope it was always unlikely that Crewe would require Jack, who has had a season of brilliance (at times) plighted by a number of injuries. Rodney missed the final game of the season against Nottingham Forest with a hamstring injury.

Good luck Rodney, enjoy wherever you go!
