Crewe Alexandra have snapped up Notts County striker Danny Haynes on an emergency month’s loan.

The 26-year-old goes straight into their squad to meet Peterborough United at Gresty Road later this evening.

His arrival follows fellow loanee forward Febian Brandy extending his own stay by a further month from Rotherham United.

Haynes has experienced an injury-disrupted season for the Magpies so far with just a couple of appearances.

He includes Ipswich Town, Millwall, Bristol City, Barnsley, Charlton Athletic and Hibernian amongst his former clubs.
