Former Crewe Alexandra striker Shaun Miller has re-joined the club on loan until the end of the season, it was confirmed on the official site yesterday afternoon.

Miller, who turned 30 earlier in the season, started his career with the Alex where he made his first team debut against Bradford City in November 2006 before making his league debut in March of the following year and he scored his first career goal on his first league start at Blackpool later that month.

After leaving the club in the summer of 2012, where he joined Sheffield United, he made 35 appearances for the Blades in all competitions in an injury-ridden spell (which also included a spell on loan at Shrewsbury). He would also represent Coventry City, Crawley Town, York City and Morecambe before joining current club Carlisle United in June 2016, scoring his first goal for the club against Port Vale on his debut.

He will wear the number 32 shirt, which was also his first squad number, during the rest of the season.
