Crewe Alexandra have signed nineteen-year-old Manchester City striker Harry Bunn on loan until the beginning of January.

The teenager has been with the City Academy for a decade and experienced recent loan spells with Rochdale, Preston North End and Oldham Athletic.

Bunn is the son of one-time Oldham striker and former Rochdale assistant manager Frankie, and made twenty appearances while incorporating combined stints at both of his father’s old clubs and scoring twice last season.

A prolific goascorer at City’s youth and reserve teams, Bunn joins up with his new team-mates at Scunthorpe United tonight and remains at Gresty Road until 6th January.
