Wing-back Greg Leigh is set to extend his loan stay at Crewe Alexandra until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has already featured 23 times for the Railwaymen since arriving from Manchester City in August.

His current loan deal expires today but the Premier League champions have indicated their willingness to extend that arrangement.

Crewe still have decisions to make on fellow loanees Jamie Ness (Stoke City), Nicky Ajose (Leeds United) and Anthony Stewart (Wycombe Wanderers).
