Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis has already seen enough of Finnish striker Lauri Dalla Valle to decide to take him on loan.

“We will have him here for a month initially and take it from there” – Steve Davis

The 21-year-old Fulham forward has been training with the Alex for the past couple of days and appears to have sufficiently impressed the coaching staff at Gresty Road.

As a result, Davis could well try to push through a deal for the under-21 international before tomorrow evening’s visit to Doncaster Rovers.

Crewe are already currently without the services of strikers AJ Leitch-Smith (ankle) and Max Clayton (groin).

“We will have him here for a month initially and take it from there,” Davis explained to Crewe’s official website. “He is quick and mobile and take goals. He is lively and has fitted in well and we thing he would make a good addition to us.”
