Crewe Alexandra are keen to hold onto loanee winger Febian Brandy from Rotherham United.

“I am sure he has enjoyed his time here with us so far” – Steve Davis

Manager Steve Davis wants to extend the current arrangement beyond this weekend’s game, when the 25-year-old
is scheduled to make a return to former club Walsall.

Davis will therefore hold talks with his Millers counterpart Steve Evans in the
next couple of days. Brandy scored on his full debut for the Railwaymen in their weekend victory over Coventry City.

“If Febian would like to stay and Rotherham would like him to get some more games under his belt then hopefully something can be sorted out,” he told Crewe’s official website. “I don’t know if Febian is keen to stay, but I am sure he has enjoyed his time here with us so far.

“We will have a conversation and see where we are but it rests with Rotherham because he is their player.”
