Three successive victories have certainly helped change the mood at Crewe Alexandra ahead of hosting Sheffield United this weekend.

Manager Steve Davis must check on the fitness of Anthony Grant, Marcus Haber and Brad Inman prior to the game, while on loan Febian Brandy should recover from a hand injury. Liam Nolan (ankle ligaments) and Ryan Colclough (hernia/hip) remain out.

Otherwise Davis may consider recalling youngster George Cooper following triumphs against Coventry City, Walsall and Peterborough United over the past fortnight while conceding just once.

The Blades hope midfielder James Wallace can return after missing their last couple of games with a groin injury.

Otherwise, defender Jay McEveley is struggling with a shoulder problem sustained during their recent derby victory at Bradford City.
