The money-spinning tie takes place during the week commencing 23rd October, with attendances sure to be higher than the 3,907 present to see the 2-0 victory over Wigan.

Crewe have only played Manchester United once before, which was in the Carling Cup Third Round two years ago. The illustrious Red Devils came out on top that night, leaving a sold-out Gresty Road with a 3-0 win, though Crewe did have chances of their own.
