Crewe Get Cambridge In 2nd Round

Crewe Alex U-18s will play Cambridge United in the 2nd Round of the FA Youth Cup. The U’s thrashed Hemel Hempstead 5-1 last night to progress, 24 hours after our own team thrashed Ashton Town 6-1 in the 1st round.

It means a replay of last year’s 2nd Round, where Cambridge caused a shock by beating the Alex.

The 2nd Round will be away at Cambridge, to be played before the end of November.
