Crewe Forced To Don Stevenage Kit

A kit ‘mix-up’ at Broadhall Way today means Crewe have to turn out in Stevenage’s all yellow away kit.

The referee was apparently unhappy pre-match with the clashes between Stevenage’s white with red trim home shirt and Crewe’s red with white trim kit.

After trying various combinations, including swapping the Railwaymen’s shorts for the orange away shorts, the decision was made for Crewe to put on Stevenage’s all yellow away kit whilst the Boro kept their white home kit.

But was it really necessary?
