Crewe have been dealt a major blow with the news that Lee Barnard (pictured) is likely to be out until after the away match at Southend next week.
The club are also without long term injury victim Nicky Maynard and Tom Pope has joined the injured list to leave Crewe very short on attacking options.
Technical Director Dario Gradi took in a match midweek, where he was believed to be watching Andrew Barcham and they have also been linked with Hull Striker Michael Bridges in the past week.
Nothing is likely to materialise ahead of the match against Bournemouth on Saturday and the only options available to Steve Holland is Ryan Lowe and Shaun Miller or push Byron Moore further forward.

i put 3-0 in match preview, may struggle to get 1!!!
I’m hoping Moore gets a real chance up front. Shown he can take a goal given the chance, so if we can get him in behind their defence who knows?
