Boosted by their terrific derby double last time out, Crewe Alexandra take on third-placed MK Dons at Gresty Road this weekend.

The Railwaymen have lost the services of on loan striker Uche Ikpeazu to Doncaster Rovers and must find a replacement for the visit of the side considered as the best in the division by manager Steve Davis.

Recent signing Lauri Dalla Valle has been struggling with a hamstring problem during the week and therefore either Marcus Haber or George Cooper could partner Nicky Ajose.

Defender Jon Guthrie (knee) is once again ruled out but Brad Inman may return to the squad having scored for the Under-21s in midweek, while young on loan goalkeeper signing Ross Etheridge should be on the bench.

Dons hope on loan striker Devante Cole (shoulder) recovers in time but midfielder Mark Randall and winger Ben Reeves remain out.
