On loan Manchester City youngster George Evans continues to make significant progress at Crewe Alexandra, according to their manager Steve Davis.

“He has a great attitude and has a great work ethic” – Steve Davis

Davis has been particularly impressed by the maturity of the eighteen-year-old, who has come into a difficult situation with the Alex currently scrapping for points
towards the bottom of League One.

The midfielder has scored once in seven appearances to date and is with the Railwaymen until February, although the Crewe boss may look to extend that arrangement.

“George has been fine and he is still learning the game. He is still a young boy, only 18 but he is a very mature lad,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “He is eager to do well and impress and is a determined lad. He has a great attitude and has a great work ethic. He has all the credentials and is progressing and improving.”
