Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis is considering bringing former striker Ryan Lowe back to Gresty Road.

“I spoke to his agent about a week ago or two ago, and he said he might be available” – Steve Davis

The 34-year-old marksman made 64 league appearances and netted a dozen times for the Alex until rejoining Chester City four years ago.

Since then the Liverpool-born MK Dons forward has also spent times at Bury and Sheffield Wednesday following an earlier spell with Shrewsbury Town.

“I spoke to his agent about a week ago or two ago, and he said he might be available,” Davis told BBC Radio Stoke. “But I’m talking about other teams’ players and that’s unfair so I need to speak to Karl Robinson to see if he’s available.”
