Crewe Alexandra earned another point with a 1-1 draw at League One newcomers Yeovil Town.

Billy Waters gave the visitors a 62nd minute lead after Glovers’ new on loan goalkeeper Jake Kean parried from Vadaine Oliver.

However, substitute Kieffer Moore headed in Nathan Smith’s cross to equalise ten minutes later.

Goalkeeper Ben Garratt earlier denied home captain Joe Edwards from distance while Joel Grant struck an upright in added time.

Marcus Haber saw a header from Matt Tootle’s cross turned over at the other end before Waters grabbed his third goal of the campaign to put the visitors in front.

The Glovers stepped up the pressure with former Alex striker AJ Leitch-Smith setting up Grant to slice wide.

However, Moore headed an equaliser with eighteen minutes remaining and Grant almost won it late on as the woodwork came to the visitors’ rescue.
