Crewe Alexandra have been drawn away to Premier League side Leeds United in the 2nd Round of the Carabao Cup following Tuesday night’s 1-0 win at Hartlepool United.
The clubs have met 9 times over the years with only one meeting in a cup-tie (a 3-1 win for Leeds in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup in January 1994) with Leeds winning 5, Crewe winning 2 and 2 draws – the last of which was a 3-2 win for the visitors at Elland Road in March 2009.
This game will take place during the week commencing 23rd August.
