Crewe are waiting to hear if they have secured the signing of Livingston youngster Robert Snodgrass.

The striker-cum-winger has recently had talks with the Alex over a move as he seeks to move south of the border. However, The Alex have competition in the likes of Leyton Orient, Hartlepool and two unnamed German clubs.

The 20 year old youth international now looks set to make his decision over his future, and Crewe should hear within the next 48 hours if they have captured their 2nd signing of the summer.

Snodgrass recently said: ”I’ve been down south over the past couple of weeks visiting the clubs and their stadiums and I feel the time is right for a fresh challenge.’

Snodgrass would arrive for around £30,000 after compensation fee has been agreed with Livingston following his contract expiring.

  • There does seem a lot of clubs interested in his signature. So he would be a good signing if you can get him.
