Crewe Alexandra signed shirt up for auction

How would you like to buy a Crewe Alexandra signed shirt, with all proceeds going to the charity ‘beach within reach’?

The small charity, register number 1119672, in East Kent; provides all-terrain wheelchairs all year round for anybody with a disability to use, free of charge. The charity is run by just 5 volunteers and aims to make sure the local beaches, countryside and attractions are accessible to as many people as possible. Chairs are loaned out to schools, care homes and any organisation that may benefit from being able to offer more inclusive days out. The chairs have been used at events such as; Remembrance Day services, school sports days, music festivals and weddings. Ultimately, the charity like to see people who normally can’t join in being able to do the things that most others take for granted, and at no extra cost. However, beach within reach need to replace all of the wheelchairs this year and we have to raise £40,000 to do this.

Ex-Alex keeper and captain Steve Phillips has kindly donated a Crewe Alex shirt, which has been signed by all the team. The charity got to know Steve through the Caudwell Children’s charity, a volunteers son has received equipment from them that specifically came from some fundraising that Steve did. Beach within reach don’t receive funding from the local council for the all-terrain wheelchairs, they are bought purely from donations received – the donation that your bid will be contributing to.

All you need to do is put Crewe Alex in the email header as well as your contact details and amount you would like to bid. The charity wish to receive all bids by Dec 2nd at Midnight, the winner will be announced on Dec 3rd. In the event of more than one person bidding the highest amount we will draw the winner from a hat.
