As announced on the official site earlier this afternoon, the retained list has been announced by the club with 6 of the squad being released whilst a further 7 have been offered new deals.
Former captain Harry Davis heads the list of those that have been released after making 208 appearances for the club, including 2 appearances at Wembley in our 2012 play-offs and 2013 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy successes.
The others that have been released are goalkeeper Andy Dawber, defenders Ben Nugent and Marcus Poscha, midfielder Billy Bingham and striker Callum Saunders.
Goalkeeper Dave Richards, defenders Oliver Turton, Jon Guthrie, George Ray and Perry Ng with midfielders Danny Hollands and Oliver Finney complete the list of those offered deals.
