It was an away game against Leeds United at Elland Road. First-half goals from Fabian Delph and former Alex loanee Alan Sheenan gave Leeds a 2-goal half-time lead. Jonathan Douglas, Jermaine Beckford and substitute Andy Robinson also scored for the hosts before Calvin Zola and Eugen Bopp scored consolation goals in the final few minutes.
