There have been three games played on March 14th this century, all away from home.

2009 saw a trip to Colchester United`s Weston Homes Community Stadium with Calvin Zola scoring the only goal of the game in the 61st minute for the Railwaymen.

In 2015, we travelled to Preston North End`s Deepdale Stadium. Joe Garner opened the scoring in the 11th minute for the hosts before adding a second 13 minutes later. Ollie Turton halved the deficit on 34 minutes before Garner added his third and forth goals of the game in the 72nd and 79th minutes with Jermaine Beckford rounding off the scoring with 8 minutes to play.

The final game saw a trip to Crawley Town`s Checkatrade.com Stadium last year. James Jones opened the scoring for the visitors from the penalty spot 8 minutes before the break with 2 goals in 3 second-half minutes from Jordan Bowery (50) and Chris Dagnall (52) sealed the victory.
