2003 – Queens Park Rangers 0-0 Crewe:

The first game of this round-up came 17 years ago with a trip to Loftus Road to face QPR. Neither team would break the deadlock (the hosts having both Clarke Carlisle and Stephen Kelly sent off for 2 bookings each) but the result was enough for the Alex to be promoted automatically back to the 2nd tier a season after relegation.
