2002 – Nottingham Forest 2-2 Crewe:
The first game of this round-up came 18 years ago with a trip to The County Ground. Future Alex midfielder Eugen Bopp (who played the full game for the hosts) on 50 minutes with Matthieu Louis-Jean doubling the lead 15 minutes later. Rodney Jack would halve the deficit on 76 minutes with Rob Hulse equalising 5 minutes later.

2009 – Oldham 1-1 Crewe:
The second game saw a trip to Oldham’s Boundary Park. Reuben Hazell gave the hosts the lead on 41 minutes with Byron Moore scoring the equaliser with a minute left to play.

2010 – Bury 3-0 Crewe:
A year later saw another trip to Lancashire, this time to face Bury. Andy Morrell gave Bury the lead on the half-hour with former Alex captain Ryan Lowe doubling the lead on 48 minutes and Andy Bishop scoring the third with 2 minutes to play. Both Lowe and Efe Sodje played the full game for the hosts.

2013 – Crewe 1-2 Doncaster Rovers:
The next game saw Doncaster travel to the Alexandra Stadium. Max Clayton gave the Alex the lead on 54 minutes before Billy Paynter scored twice in 4 minutes to give the visitors the victory.

2019 – Crewe 3-0 Notts County:
The final game of the column took place last year with Notts County the visitors to the Alexandra Stadium. Aaron Taylor-Sinclair gave the hosts the lead on 32 minutes with goals in the final 15 minutes from Ryan Wintle and James Jones sealing the win.
