In this column, we look at how Crewe Alexandra have done on this day in the previous 20 years on April 11th.

2009 – Crewe 0-0 Hartlepool United:

The first game of this round-up came 11 years ago with Hartlepool United making the long trip south to the Alexandra Stadium to play out a goalless draw with the Alex, a result that helped the visitors towards staying in League 1 in that season.

2015 – Crewe 1-1 Leyton Orient:

The second and final game of the column saw Leyton Orient travel north to the same venue. Lauri Dalla Valle gave the Alex the lead on 10 minutes before Darius Henderson levelled the score on the half-hour mark. Future Alex striker Chris Dagnall would play the full game for the visitors.
