The club is still waiting to hear if Byron Moore is to pen a new two year contract after discussions with Moore’s agent.

Moore was expected to follow the likes of Ashley Westwood, Matt Tootle and Shaun Miller in committing their future to the club but has stalled with his agent, former Stoke defender Clive Clarke, looking to move the winger up the divisions.

It is something Dario is clearly doubtful about, bringing up the issue of either a transfer fee or compensation for the 23 year old, but says there’s no rush to get Moore signed up.

‘We simply spoke about his future and Byron wanting to play in a higher league.

‘The question would then be about interest and who would be prepared to pay the transfer fee or the compensation fee for him. The ball is in their court and I haven’t set a time limit on him because he isn’t out of contract until the summer. ‘
