The club has today confirmed that as of July 10th (am) they had sold 2,468 for the forthcoming season. Recent media reports had suggested that sales had been sluggish following a disappointing return to League One and the departure of leading goalscorer Luke Varney.

But today`s announcement shows that season tickets are selling well and supporters are backing the team for the forthcoming season. It appears that the club deserve huge credit as the club look to be on target to beat last year`s total.

This is certainly good news ahead of the new season which is just around the corner. Meanwhile Saturday`s pre-season curtain raiser against premiership giants Liverpool is close to becoming a sell out so if you want a ticket visit the ticket office or ring the club on 01270 252610.

Season tickets are still on sale at the club and are fantasic value at just £285 for adults. For further information click here
