Crewe Alexandra captain Perry Ng has completed a move to Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee that is rumoured to be in the region of £350,000 plus add-ons. He has signed a 3-and-a-half year deal with the Bluebirds.
Ng, 24, came through the Academy set-up with the Alex, making almost 200 appearances following a short loan spell with Hyde United in early 2015 and has captained the Alex since the summer of 2019.
He joins former Alex loanee Harry Wilson at the Cardiff City Stadium.
What are Cardiff getting from the signing?
Perry is a player that came through the system at the Alex as a central defender but has played most of his senior career as a right-back and can also play as a defensive midfielder too.
While it took him a few games to adapt to League One following our promotion, it will be interesting to see how quickly he can adapt to the step-up to the Championship for a team that has been struggling at right-back in recent weeks.
