Mark Carrington was named in this week’s Football League One Team of the Week.
The midfielder had a superb game in the centre during the 2-1 win over Tranmere on Saturday, earning much praise amongst fans.
He topped his performance off with his first Alex goal, equalising for Crewe in the 83rd minute.
The team is chosen weekly by the Press Association for the Football League.
