Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis will remain positive while trying to turn around a difficult situation.

“I don’t tend to get too low when we lose or too high when things are going well” – Steve Davis

The Railwaymen are currently struggling at the bottom of the table following just one win in eleven attempts so far this season.

However, Davis, who guided them to final day survival last season, intends to keep calm and not let the pressure get to him.

“I don’t tend to get too low when we lose or too high when things are going well,” he explained to Crewe’s official website. “I think I keep it a level. It is important to do that.

“As a manager and staff we try and create a positive vibe when we come into work,” Davis added. “I am not emotionless and when we have lost on a Saturday, I’ve not had a good weekend, but you have to get over it quickly and get back to work on Monday.”
