Bopp is the latest player to leave Gresty Road as his contract has been mutually terminated.

The midfielder was deemed surplus to requirements after making only 9 appearances over the last season and only managing a total of 21 games since signing on a free in 2007.

Boppy has been plagued buy injury in his time in Crewe, and throughout his career which brought up many questions from the fans when he actually signed. There were even rumours that he failed his medical but the combined management of Holland and Gradi still went through with the original purchase.

Bopp had an unsuccessful trial in Cyprus only a few months ago and returned to his family home in Germany to start specialist treatment on a longstanding leg injury.

Eugen Bopp is now the tenth player to leave the club so far, following the release of Stuart Tomlinson, Mark Carrington, Chris McCready, Colin Daniel, Luke Danville, Chris Clements and Stuart Tomlinson.

Danny Wooodards and Julien Baudet have left after failing to sign new contracts offered to them and George Abbey had his contract mutually terminated yesterday.

Schumacher and O`Donnell are the next players rumoured to be shown the exit door.
