French keeper Bertrand Bossu is handed a trial with the club but let’s in five in a reserve game.

After Peter Brezovan’s unsuccessful trial last week the search for a new keeper continues. This week it’s the turn of former Walsall shot stopper Bertrand Bossu.

The 29 year old has previous experience at Aberdeen, Gillingham and Walsall, where he played number two to Clayton Ince between 2006 and 2008. Despite notching up six professional clubs in just six years, Bossu has only made just over 20 first team appearances in that period.

Handed a chance to impress Dario and Steve Davis today, it all went a bit wrong as the fringe side were thrashed 5-3 by their Birmingham City counterparts.

So I think we can confidently say that Bossu’s brief time with the club will come to a swift end.
