Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has a big decision to make at the weekend with the return of striker Vadaine Oliver from suspension.

“Vadaine always gives 100%, honesty and hard work and the fans appreciate that” – Steve Davis

The 22-year-old missed the weekend draw at Coventry City following his sending-off in the recent victory against Crawley Town.

However, on loan duo Chuks Aneke and Tom Hitchcock were both on target for the Railwaymen at the Sky Blues’ temporary Sixfields Stadium.

“Vadaine has improved since he came here in the summer,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “There is still more to come and he has to brush up on a few things. He has some way to go and he has to add goals to his game.

“Vadaine always gives 100%, honesty and hard work and the fans appreciate that,” he added. “He delivers that every game and that is a great asset to have as a footballer. He always gives everything he has got.”
