Defender Julien Baudet has been nominated for the North West League One Player Of The Year award. The Frenchman hasn’t made the best start to the new season but swept the Player of the Season awards on Vital Crewe, Crewe ASi as well as on the club’s official website last season.

‘Beast’ has competition from Mark Allott at Oldham, Ian Goodison at Tranmere and Danny Livesey at Carlisle for the award.

Also nominated for the Conference North West Player of the Year is former Alex striker Colin Little, who has been in blistering form for Altrincham for the past few seasons.

With the 2008 awards night not till November 17th there is still plenty of time to add your vote here. If you wish. You can also be there on the night for the bargain price of £150 (+VAT).
